One great place to take your tea is in front of a window. Many people will wait until they have finished their exam and then sit down to go take a cup. While this may seem like a good idea, I have found that most people who go to their local coffee shop and order a cup of coffee are half way through their exam. They also become tired and lose concentration on what they should be concentrating on. If you don’t want to get distracted, you should go with the second best option, which is going to your window. It is open in the middle of the day and you won’t experience the distraction of traffic.
Another great place to take my TEFL or TESOL exam questions is in your kitchen. You are probably the only person in the house that cooks so you will be able to focus better on your exam. You will have plenty of time to review what you learned in class, so don’t think that you can fit in a couple more hours here. The kitchen is also where you are likely to make new memories while taking your exam. Try to set up a good study schedule so that you don’t run out of time to review.
When searching for a site to take the TESOL exam, you will notice that there are two options. They offer free and paid lessons. The free lessons are nice, but they don’t give you enough time to review everything that you learned in class. On the other hand, the paid sites offer more time, but some of the questions are just the same.
One of the big problems with taking this type of exam at home is keeping focused. Nursing is such a large field, it takes a lot of information to keep you on top of things. If you are taking the exam in your home, then chances are you will be distractions by others in the house. Some students have the ability to zone out. However, if you are taking the exam in a busy home, then distractions are sure to be present.
Another problem with taking these tests at home, is keeping track of the times. Some students are perfectionists and want to try everything within a few minutes. This means that when the clock reads 2 hours to go, they have already done the entire class. If you are using a textbook, then the clock may read infinity, but you still have an entire semester to learn the material. By taking a TESOL study guide, you can mark the pages that you need to review and take them one at a time.
Once you start taking the tests at home, keep in mind that nursing is a numbers game. The more you study, the better you will do on the test. For example, if you only studied for fifteen minutes, you would probably do okay on the five questions that come from each section. However, if you study for an hour, you will probably do very well on the three main areas that the question comes from. You should always plan your hours so that you can dedicate at least forty-five minutes to each section, or else you will not get the results you want.
Finally, when you are preparing for the home study version of the exam, you should remember that you have to answer questions on a specific format. If you do not cover all of the formats in the book, then you will not be considered fully prepared. The format requires you to fill out boxes, answer in specific areas, and a few more questions on each section. It is difficult to think of any kind of practice question that you can answer accurately and quickly. Therefore, practice the format as much as possible before you try the real thing on the day of the exam.
