When you take the official tests for the Registered Nurse (RN) program, there will be several tests that come along with them. The first test, known as the MBLC, or the National Board of Medical Cleansing and Certification, is one of these tests. It is a written exam and comes with a certain number of credit hours. The MBLC is offered to anyone who is currently a licensed nurse in good standing and has a number of years of experience.

The other one, the NCLEX-RN, is a set of three exams. One is a basic nursing course and one is a specialized area of nursing. The NCLEX-RN tests are written examinations and there are a certain number of credit hours required to complete them, as stated above.

The Registered Nurse (RN) test schedule is broken down by state. Most states have a minimum period of time for the NCLEX-RN tests to be passed in. Some states allow for a longer period of time, which would mean more tests could be taken in the same time period. However, some say that a minimum of eight weeks is more than enough to pass the NCLEX-RN. Once you have started taking the tests, you should know the times by which they will be administered. You will also need to know the format and what will be expected of you on each type of exam.

As part of your training to become a Registered Nurse, you will take one of the actual MBLC test, which is available in bookstores and can also be taken online through websites. From there, you will receive a score from the computer after answering a series of questions. Your results will give you the credit hours needed to take the NCLEX-RN exam.

Once you have received your credit hours, you can then schedule your exam, either online or in person. In person testing requires you to schedule the exam when you are free, so if you have a hectic schedule, you may not be able to take the exam during the same hours that you normally would. Online testing does not require you to be available for testing at a specific time. You can study as long as you want, and when you are done, simply take the test. There is no right or wrong time to take the exam.

The actual examination consists of multiple choice questions, a writing section, and a medical skills section. You will be asked to answer nursing questions in all three areas. Depending on the state that you live in, you may not be given the same tests for each category, but the overall format and components are similar. In order to qualify for passing the NCLEX-RN exam, you will need to earn a certain number of credits.

You will also need to complete registration with your local Board. This is usually done via email. If you have questions about the requirements, you should contact your local Board before testing. You will find that registering for the exam online is the easiest way to complete the process.

As mentioned before, the actual examination cannot be scheduled until you have taken the tests, completed the registration process, and passed the NCLEX-RN. However, some states do allow students to take the tests at any point prior to taking the official exam. This is determined by each state’s licensing board. Once you have taken your tests, you will need to wait at least ninety days before scheduling your examination. This allows you to recuperate from any physical or emotional stress that may be caused by the testing.
